Year-End Zakat refers to the practice of reviewing one's total wealth and income at the end of the year (either the Gregorian or Hijri year) to ensure all Zakat obligations for that year have been fulfilled completely.

Yes. Your Zakat payment is eligible for income tax relief, subject to the regulations set by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN).

Your official Zakat receipt for tax relief purposes is issued directly by the respective State Zakat Body that you paid to.

Here’s how the process generally works:

1. Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS)

- Visit ezo.zakatselangor.com.my → Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt.

2. Pusat Pungutan Zakat MAIWP (PPZ-MAIWP)

- Visit zakat2u.com.my → Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt (3-7 days after payment is made)

3. Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah (LZNK)

- Visit zakatkedah.com.my→ "Bayar Zakat" → "Login Masuk"  or "SEMAKAN INDIVIDU" (IC Number)

4. Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Pulau Pinang (MAINPP)

- Visit zakatpenang2u.com → "Log Masuk" → Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt

Official receipts will also be sent via mail to registered address.

5. Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan (MAIK)

- Official receipts sent via postal mail to registered address

6. Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan (MAINS)

- Visit mains.gov.my/semak/login.php → Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt or Visit mains.gov.my → "Semakan Online"  → Klik Di Sini → Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt 

7. Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Johor (MAINJ)

- Visit epayment.maij.gov.my →  Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt

8. Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah (MUIS)

- Visit appszakat.sabah.gov.my →  Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt

9. Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis (MAIPs)

- Visit bayaran.maips.gov.my → "Sign In" → Log in using your registered account to view and download your receipt

Zakat 2025 Payment Closing Dates

Q1: When does Zakat 2025 payment close on the platform?

A: Closing dates vary by Zakat body. Zakat bodies close on either 30 or 31 December 2025. After the cut-off time set by each body, Zakat 2025 payments will no longer be accepted on the platform. Please refer to the list below for exact dates and times.

Q3: What happens if I try to pay after the cut-off?

A: The Zakat 2025 option will be closed. You can pay for the next year, contact the Zakat body directly, or use another eligible Zakat body that is still open.

Q4: Who should I contact if I have questions about a specific Zakat body’s rules or late payments?

A: For official rules, extensions, or late payment options, please contact the respective Zakat body directly. Our platform follows the cut-off dates provided by each body.

Q5: Will Zakat 2026 payment options be available soon?

A: Yes. Zakat 2026 payment options will be available starting January 2026. We strongly recommend completing Zakat 2025 payments before the respective cut-off dates to avoid any issues.
