Zakat al-Fitr is a form of zakat that must be paid by every Muslim in the month of Ramadan. Zakat al-Fitr is also referred to as 'sadaqah al-fitr'.
When is the time to pay Zakat al-Fitr?
The period of paying Zakat al-Fitr is divided into 5:

Makruh Period: After the Eid prayers until sunset on the 1st of Syawal
Illegal Period: After sunset on the 1st of Syawal
What is the rate for Zakat al-Fitr

The appointed amil (Ikhlas.com or Tulus) will be clearly shown during checkout for transparency.
Payment Confirmation vs Official Receipt
After payment:
- You will receive a payment confirmation email from the appointed amil (Ikhlas.com or Tulus).
- Please remember to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

The official receipt will be issued separately by the respective state zakat authority (e.g. Pusat Pungutan Zakat (PPZ), Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS), etc.), and may take some time to be processed.
