Reciting the 3 Quls before sleeping

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى اللهُ عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ، جَمَعَ كَفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ نَفَثَ فِيهِمَا فَقَرَأَ فِيهِمَا: ﴿ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَد ﴾ وَ﴿ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَق ﴾ وَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاس  ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ بِهِمَا مَا اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ، يَبْدَأُ بِهِمَا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَوَجْهِهِ، وَمَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ، يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

"Indeed, when the Prophet SAW lay down on his bed every night, he would raise his hands and then blow into his palms. Then His Majesty read: Qul Huwallahu Ahad, Qul 'Auzu Birabil Falaq and Qul A'uzu birabbinnas. Then His Majesty will sweep with both palms of his hands to his body starting from his head and face then his body. He did it three times.”

How to read surah 3 Qul before going to sleep

1. When we are in bed, preferably in a sitting position, while holding both hands, the sequence of reading 3 Qul starts from surah Al - Ikhlas, Al Falaq and An - Naas. Read surah 3 Qul until it is finished.

2. After reading the three surahs, it should be blown on the palm of the hand and applied to the face and the whole body, hands and feet. Repeat the action three times.
